Lakers vanquish the Blazers 99-82 in Portland as Kobe sits, breaking his 235 game streak
The Los Angeles Lakers played without Kobe Bryant for the first time in 235 games as the Queens, NY connection of Ron Artest and Lamar Odom led six Laker players in double figures in a refreshingly spirited 99-82 win over the Trailblazers, who were playing again without their All-Star guard Brandon Roy, missing his tenth straight game with a sore right hamstring.
